Linda Anger’s Books
“The Full Crumb Cafe is a contemporary, poetic and lovely Tao Te Ching for the 21st century. Linda’s writing helps us all to see beyond our pain and our joy into the heart and soul of life. The Full Crumb Cafe is the place where we can all be human and humane again. Come on in!”
—M.L. Liebler, Detroit Poet Laureate & Co-Editor of the Made in Michigan Series at the Wayne State University Press
“Even in a chat room full of people, intimate communication is not that easily uncovered; nor is it any simpler to turn back the layers necessary to distill the biological act of sex into one of making love. But, one dozen brave souls have dared to dangle their fingertips over that terrifying ledge, reaching over the abyss through their poetry and essays, in an amazing anthology called ‘Almost Touching.'”
America OnLine, Writer’s Club Review, 4/97
Writers I know and Love
Romance author Sylvia Hubbard is not only an award-winning, best selling author – she’s also a goddess of social media, a gorgeous single mom, and one of the most delightful women I’ve ever met. Check out her author page!
“Linda K. Sienkiewicz’s powerful and richly detailed debut novel is at once a love story, a cautionary tale, and an inspirational journey. In the Context of Love should be required reading for all wayward teenage girls—and their mothers, too.”
~ Bonnie Jo Campbell, author of National Book Award Finalist, American Salvage, and critically acclaimed Once Upon a River, and Mothers, Tell Your Daughters.
Nibble on Creative Non-Fiction…
Nationally published journalist and mixed-media artist Cindy La Ferle’s heartwarming anthology of domestic essays and lifestyle columns is a must-read for every suburban mother who’s juggling a career with parenthood, reinventing family traditions (or herself), learning to age gracefully, and facing the empty nest. She’s an awesome writer, and an awesome friend!
A Little Bit of Mystery…
Who would ever think that this quiet gentleman – Christian Belz – spins clever stories of murder? Ken “Cannoli” Knoll – the main character – is a Detroit-based architect – following in the footsteps of his author!
Have a Taste for Fantasy?
I’m neither a gamer nor a fan of fantasy fiction… so it surprised me that I was unable to stop reading this magnificent story, and that I stayed up reading till the wee hours of the morning, till my weary eyes could not stay open.
Lycopolis is a masterful roller-coaster ride of dark and light, secrets and truth, danger and refuge, reality and fantasy, all tied together by seven young gamers and their online alter-egos. A 5-star read I will recommend to my teenage granddaughter as well as my senior-citizen friends!
